What Is The Holy Qur'an?

The Quran, the last revealed Word of God. It deals with all the subjects which concern us as human beings: wisdom, doctrine, worship, and law, but its basic theme is the relationship between God and His creatures. At the same time, it provides guidelines for a just society, proper human conduct and an equitable economic system.

There is a big misconception among many people who think that Prophet Muhammad authored the Holy Qur'an or that it has been altered or changed. This is 100% NOT TRUE. There are many different TRANSLATIONS of the Holy Qur'an but the ORIGINAL text, in which it was revealed, is in Arabic and has been preserved 100% since its revelation.

One of the miracles you will find with the Holy Qur'an is that you can take a person from Iraq, then another from Thailand, then another from Texas, then another from Japan, and finally one from Germany (all by random) and ask them to recite a verse or chapter out of the Holy Qur'an and they will recite it EXACTLY the same way in its ORIGINAL ARABIC FORM. This is the miracle of the Holy Qur'an and this is what makes it the most authentic book in the World today.

The way Allah describes the Holy Qur'an:

"(This is) the Revelation of the Book in which there is no doubt,- from the Lord of the Worlds...it is the truth from your Lord that you may warn a people to whom no warner has come before you, that they may follow the right direction."

"And this Qur'an is not such as could be forged by those besides Allah, but it is a verification of that which is before it and a clear explanation of the book, there is no doubt in it, from the Lord of the worlds."

"Surely this Qur'an guides to that which is most upright and gives good news to the believers who do good that they shall have a great reward."

"This is the Scripture whereof there is no doubt, a guidance unto those who ward off (evil)."

"...That this is indeed a Qur'an Most Honourable..."

"By the Qur'an, full of Wisdom..."

"(All) praise is due to Allah, Who revealed the Book [Holy Qur'an] to His servant [Prophet Muhammad] and did not make in it any crookedness."

"And We reveal of the Qur'an that which is a healing and a mercy for believers though it increase the evil-doers in naught save ruin."

"We have sent it down as an Arabic Qur'an, in order that ye may learn wisdom."

"It is He Who sent down to thee (step by step), in truth, the Book [Holy Qur'an], confirming what went before it; and He sent down the Law (of Moses) and the Gospel (of Jesus) before this, as a guide to mankind, and He sent down the criterion (of judgment between right and wrong)."

History of the Holy Qur’an

The Holy Qur’an was brought over 1400yrs Ago to confirm all previous revelations and was brought as a Final guidance and mercy to mankind so that they may get to know their Lord!

God’s Words…

Allah (God) addresses the people of the Bible & Torah as he says, “O followers of the Book! [Bible-Torah] indeed Our Messenger [Muhammad] has come to you revealing to you much of what you used to hide the Book and pass over much; indeed, there has come to you light and a clear Book from Allah (God); "

Miracles From the Holy Qur’an

This holy book which was revealed over 14 centuries ago has modern day miracles within the Scripture to prove that this book is from Allah (God).

For Example: The Barrier Between the Two Seas Scientific account of Oceanographers, with today’s advanced scientific technology, have discovered that there is a barrier that separates the Salt water sea and the Fresh water sea.

The Holy Qur’an’s account of ‘The Barrier’ came before any technology such as weather radars:

“He [Allah] has made the two seas to flow freely (so that) they meet together: [But] Between them is a barrier which they cannot pass .Which of the favors of your Lord, will you deny?”
